Hello Ash,

First of all I'd like to apologize for my poor english, hope I will make myself clear enough for you to understand me. I wish to thank you for this amazing site full of very helpful tips. I own a zoom g5 unit and I'am considering making all mods mod. Haven't done it yet, but sure I will. I was wondering if it would be possible to make additional switch making the build in looper to go before any other effects. Right now, according to my best knowledge it only works post effects. Such mod will make my (I'am sure not only mine) life a lot easier. Thank you in advance for your response.

Best regards,
Rafa³

I tested with my G5. I first used the looper to record some clean rhythm and then played distorted over it. The clean, which came first, was not affected by the distorted. So what was on the looper came first before the rest of the effects.

Hello,
I recently purchased a Zoom B3 unti and came across your youtube video on the Effectuator 2000. I have exported a patch group and when I try loading using the Effectuator 2000 program nothing seems to load? Any idea what might be wrong? Thanks in Advance!

ashbass reply:
You have to make sure that both files in the zip file are in the same folder on your computer. One is the program file and the other contains all of the required setting settings.

Hello Ash, i bought a zoom g5 few months back. It has been working completely fine but my displays have stopped working now. It just turns on emitting white light but no text on them. My entire unit works perfectly fine other than this. I really need to know if there is a fix to it.

ashbass reply:
Not that I know of, sorry. I hope that you can return it.

teria como o senhor enviar todo o esquema de ligação na placa para meu email?desde já muito obrigado

ashbass reply:
I don't have any wiring diagrams, really. In the G5 All Mods Mod I have a wiring map that I used to keep track of all the wires and where they were supposed to go. But I have no actual diagrams for what wires go to what switches.

Sure it can do that. It works with other pedals and sound generators just like a regular pedal would.

Hi Ash! i write from Argentina, amazing site, been a while reading and learning from your works. Thanks for that. I have an opportunity to get a FP-02, my intention is to use it to control the expression pedal input of a memory man which uses this 0v to 5v range, do you know if the FP02 is capable of doing that?
cheers from Argentina!

ashbass reply:
I really can't say as I've never had a memory man to work on. If you are getting a good deal then if it doesn't work you can sell it and break even.

Hi! I just stumbled across your site and WOW... now I have more projects to do! I was actually trying to figure out how to get my expression pedal to work along with a tap-tempo pedal and share a Y-adapter, but I couldn't make it work until I tried your suggested mod to the adapter. Thanks!

I'm seriously considering doing your "patch select" and "tap tempo/rhythm" mods and they seem pretty straightforward, but I have one question...

How do you get such great looking graphics on your pedals? I'm hoping you're not going to tell me that you're just a great artist and drew them on yourself, cuz I'll be screwed! ;)

Thanks!

ashbass reply:
I copied the logos out of the pdf manuals for the pedals. Then I pasted them into PowerPoint and adjusted size to taste. Then I printed them out on water decal paper. Then put the logos on the pedals and lastly put several coats of polyurethane over the logos.
